About Me
I'm a Data Scientist and AI Engineer with a background in data science, applied AI, and software engineering. I work across machine learning, deep learning, NLP, generative AI, GeoAI, remote sensing and computer vision with a focus on building systems that turn data and models into practical applications.
I recently completed a Master's Degree in Data Science and Analytics, including GeoAI and remote sensing research at Hochschule Neubrandenburg, Germany. My Master's research focused on fine-scale population estimation using Sentinel-1/2 imagery, WSF3D building morphology, land-cover information and machine-learning/deep-learning methods.
My AI projects span several areas, including LoRA/PEFT for low-resource NLP, semantic RAG and knowledge graphs, satellite-image anomaly detection, computer vision, federated learning and distributed multi-agent systems. I enjoy exploring both the modeling side of AI and the engineering required to turn models into complete systems.
Before specializing in data science and AI, I worked in software development, building applications with technologies such as Laravel, JavaFX, Qt/QML, REST APIs and relational databases. That background gives me an engineering-oriented approach to machine learning. I care not only about model performance, but also about how models are integrated, evaluated and used in real applications.

Hierarchical LoRA rank allocation validated across ASR and NMT tasks for low-resource languages, achieving ~19% MER reduction and +3.17 BLEU over uniform baseline.

Unsupervised VAE-WGAN-GP anomaly detector for wildfire identification from Sentinel-2 multispectral data.
GeoAI-Sentinel Multi-Agent Disaster Prediction
Decentralised autonomous drone platform for real-time disaster prediction operating on Edge-Fog-Cloud continuum with zero internet dependency.
Skeleton-Based Human Action Recognition
ST-GCN achieving 88.34% accuracy on NTU RGB+D at 100 FPS demonstrating the failure of classic feature-vector approaches (SVM: 36%).
GeoAI Population Estimation
Developed a fine-scale population estimation pipeline for Moroccan cities using Sentinel-1/2 imagery, residential mapping, WSF3D building morphology, land-cover information, and machine-learning models.
Semantic RAG for Moroccan Medicinal Plants
Built a semantic RAG application over an RDF/OWL knowledge graph of Moroccan medicinal plants, using SPARQL and Apache Jena Fuseki for structured retrieval and Google Gemini for natural-language-to-SPARQL generation.

Master's Thesis Researcher in GeoAI & Remote Sensing
Hochschule Neubrandenburg
Designed and developed a GeoAI pipeline for fine-scale population estimation in Moroccan cities using Sentinel-1/2 imagery. The workflow combined Random Forest and U-Net-based residential mapping with WSF3D building morphology and land-cover data to generate high-resolution population estimates.
Bachelor's Project Intern - JavaFX Developer

Developed an HR management desktop application using JavaFX and MySQL with MVC/DAO architecture, role-based access control, employee management, and automated document generation.
Software Developer - Full Stack & Qt/QML
RECYKIOSK
Developed and maintained web, Qt/QML, and server-side solutions, including a Laravel management platform and the RecyKiosk user interface. Worked on backend updates, GSM API integration, troubleshooting, and general system maintenance.
Mobile Developer
Radio Al Muhajir
Developed the Radio Al Muhajir Android application in Java, providing access to daily podcasts and live radio streaming. Integrated audio streaming, optimized mobile performance and published the application on the Google Play Store.
